This time last year, I had only just come back from Origins 2018, and the experience in and of itself was incredible. Now here I sit, a year later, prepping to be a Dungeon Master for D&D in a Castle. Bags are packed, minis all painted, and game props good to go. There is a suitcase full of dragons for a painting class, cause that will be interesting with customs, and I am now waiting to head to the airport.
Life is crazy and funny all at the same time. I never in a million years thought I'd be heading in this direction. I'm so grateful for it. The people and the community are truly amazing. This past week was full of trying to finalize things, get packed, go through the loss of a family pet only to find out hours later, a friend had also passed that morning. But the love and outpouring of support you all gave me helped me find the strength to refocus and keep my eye on this coming week.

With everything that is happening now, I cannot wait to see where this path will continue. When I come back from the UK, I have a game I'm working on that will start up on the 21st of July...more on that though later. But to be the DM of a new streamed campaign is inspiring and I feel like everything I know and have done in the past suddenly filters together and helps me be able to create and do these things.
